I have been asked to moderate a BDSM discussion regarding: The Fairy Tales of D/s.
I am not certain that I am able or qualified to do this, however, I have come to form the list below, on the top 10 D/s myths, that I wanted to share.
These are the ones I thought of, but surely you can think of something more or more accurate?

In Letterman style:
10) Only men are truly Dominant, only women are truly submissive.
9) "Real" Dominants are not "in it" for sex or pleasure - real submissives only do what they do for the sake of pleasing others.
8) D/s defies any need for physical attraction - on either part.
7) True submission requires force (From the Dominant and/or submissive)
6) A "protector" is a Dominant with no ulterior motives toward the one he/she protects and trains
5) A "true Master" is above moral reproach. A true submissive never asks for anything - EVER.
4) D/s is all romance, cherishing and life-long-unwavering honor. On both sides.
3) Asshole = Dominant and Passive = submissive
2) D/s is easy! - Just slap on a collar and you're good to go!
1) One must uphold the Codes, Rules and Regulations of Dominance and Submission...and all of it's bylaws and amendments, both original and new testaments, as witnessed on this, 9th day of February, in Austin,Texas. :)
